Jack Sparrow Grey took time to warm up in a Sandown bumper but stayed on and, with his yard in such good form, he can make his presence felt. Menaggio ran well over slightly further at Kempton while IN D'OR had strong form in France and is likely to be much better than he showed on his debut for new connections at Fontwell in January. The latter gets the vote as Worcester bumper winner Fierce Warrior jumped moderately at Market Rasen, though will have had plenty of schooling, while Bentley's Return made a bad mistake at Fontwell that stopped him in his tracks.
