Watchful Witness and Mioche d'Estruval look set to dominate here and we will give the nomination to the latter. The Martin Pipe yard are showing signs of a return to form now and this gelding looks a useful prospect. He won well on his racecourse debut when defeating Pequenita over this course and distance and although he had to work hard to see off the challenge of Deer Dancer last time out, he should be capable of notching up the hat-trick here, especially with the slight drop in trip in his favour. Watchful Witness looks the main danger but he made work of beating Bella Bambina on this track last time. He is a colt with plenty of ability and it is likely there is still more to come, but he may have to play second fiddle to the Pipe horse here. Once Seen and Island Star are both making their racecourse debuts so they should be noted in the market, while the others will have to improve significantly to trouble the principles. Unless the two newcomers are anything out of the ordinary this should be a straight shoot-out between Watchful Witness and Mioche d' Estruval and the Martin Pipe gelding is given the confident vote.
