Boddidley has the experience to beat Old Rowley, with It's Music and Bar Gayne best of the rest. Although Paul Nicholls will be concentrating on Cheltenham, his other runners should not be left out, and Boddidley appears to be going the right way. The winning point-to-pointer by Be My Native was bought privately from Graham Roach last year, and although a beaten favourite last time, is expected to pay his way over timber in due course. The trip should bring out the best in him and he can outstay Old Rowley. Nicky Henderson's charge stayed on for fourth on his hurdles bow at Exeter, and is another that can make up into a decent sort in time on breeding. It's Music has been chasing but was very disappointing at Leicester last time. He was due to go up in the weights five-pounds as well, so the switch to hurdles will hopefully give him a confidence boost, and with Timmy Murphy up, he can play a part. Bumper winner Bar Gayne was far from fluent on his timber debut at Market Rasen and is best watched, and in a race that should take little winning, it may be that Boddidley will come out on top.
