Ouragan Larange is fancied to have too much in the locker for Captain's Legacy and Reelinga, while each-way backers can consider a small investment with Go Johnny Go, who sports blinkers for the first time today. Obviously, the fitting of the headgear is a step into the unknown for the last named. But he has proven stamina, so is no forlorn hope if Joe Tizzard can keep him interested to the line. Reelinga comes here on the back of a confidence boosting success a fortnight ago. However, he is an archetypal course specialist and it remains to be seen whether he will reproduce the goods away from his beloved Taunton. Captain's Legacy will love the ground and, having gone well at Plumpton in the past, there are a good number of reasons to expect a bold bid. Top weight may not be insurmountable in this company and he is well worth a second look in the betting. However, Ouragan Larange has held his own against a much stiffer calibre of opponent and is not expected to be fazed by the ground. The drop in class combined with the undoubted well being of Gary Moore's string make this French-bred gelding too hard to overlook on this occasion.
