    Verdict

An open handicap chase where plenty of the field have claims on the pick of their form - not least See You Around, who has often entered his races with plenty of confidence abounding for his claims but he has flattered to deceive on too many occasions to be confidently supported. Therefore, Good Bone carries the burden of selection this afternoon and edges out Little Herman and Follow The Trend in order of preference. The Lawrence Wells-trained selection showed a game and willing attitude when scoring at Folkestone last time - where he easily coped with the step up to this trip to out-battle a field of similar quality to today's rivals. Good Bone does have a little more to prove on these terms, but with his rider taking a useful 7lb off with his claim, the race is there for the taking for the top weight. Little Herman is also suited by a test of stamina and should make a fist of it if any mishaps befall the selection
