Glinger is taken to get the better of Kyle of Lochalsh and Sterling Guarantee in this handicap hurdle. The selection may be an 11-year-old but he is relatively lightly-raced and he is in the form of his life at present. He has won on each of his last two starts and he does tend to reserve his best for right-handed tracks so he is difficult to oppose today. Kyle of Lochalsh ran well on the flat behind Platinum Charmer last time but he didn't look the most fluent of jumpers on his last try in this sphere and on that basis we will take him on. Sterling Guarantee was a fair third behind Miami Explorer last time at Hexham but he has yet to prove that he stays this far. He could go well but the percentage call is to oppose him. Supply and Fix finished in front of Sterling Guarantee last time but he is best over 2m, and for the winner we will stick with the in-form Glinger.
