SCREENSCRAPER can provide the Irish with their fourth win in this race in five years and Gordon Elliott with his third in three. Baaher and Solway Star may provide the biggest challenges. With a strike rate of twenty nine per cent with his hurdlers at the track over the past five seasons, Gordon Elliott is clearly a man to be feared. Screenscraper has already proved costly to follow though having been turned over at odds of 2-5 on his Rules debut at this track but he can make amends by showing the benefit of his Limerick hurdling bow. Baaher had a regressive profile on the level but he appeared to be heading the right way over obstacles for his previous yard and it will be interesting to see if he attracts any support on his debut for a new team. Solway Star failed to land a blow on his handicap bow over three miles and has generally finished well held but can't be ruled out of this contest. The Irish challenge is also represented by Castleroche, Tornado Glen, Annie Go and Different Trades and it will be worth a look to see whether they attract any support but Screenscraper looks the one to beat.
