Pc Dixon and Craiganboy were both engaged here yesterday. This is a much weaker affair than the first division and Mill Forge has a good chance of taking the prize back across the Irish Sea, despite his advancing years. But there was more promise in the latest run of SILK OR SCARLET at Ayr and Nick Alexander’s gelding still has plenty of scope for further improvement. Le Frank didn’t run well at Haydock last time but was third at Ayr the time before and Glingerside has the past form to figure, though has become disappointing.
