Verdict

Those near the top of the handicap have the best chances. OUR LUCAS (NAP) and Castletown both ran well at Ayr last week but the former’s second to Dino Velvet makes him the one to beat in this. Le Braye scrambled home over 3m here on Wednesday but that’s earned him a penalty and he may not be suited by the shorter trip, though is still preferred to fellow Irish raider Ardmillan. Echo Express was disappointing on his handicap debut at Ayr in December and has a bit to prove now while this looks a big ask for Dolly's Dot.
