In depth

Verdict

RONS DREAM was headed on the run-in and beaten more than four lengths by Same Circus at Bangor last month but was conceding the winner 10lb. She went on to win easily at Haydock, with Two Smokin Barrels well beaten, before being brought down in a hot handicap at Ayr last week when travelling comfortably. If a busy schedule doesn’t catch up with Peter Bowen’s mare, she looks the one to beat. Jennys Surprise stays further and the more rain the better for the 10-year-old, who has plenty of experience. However, the step up in trip may be beyond Plaisir D'Amour and Song Saa.
