The consistent Misfits has form both over this trip and on soft ground so looks the mainstay of the home defence along with CASTLETOWN, who has plenty of soft and heavy ground form in the book from his French exploits. Pauline Robson's import shaped well on his first run for the yard when a fair third at Cartmel and stays further then this 2m4f trip, which may prove decisive in the forecast testing conditions. At the age of four, he should also produce further improvement for new connections. Tajseer was just inched out of things here last time and is obviously respected for Elliott and Johnson, whilst Knocklayde Sno Cat remains frustrating but consistent and should be in the hunt once again as she's at home on the ground.
