A field large in numbers but low in quality and the finish should concern Tribal Dispute, Commanche Wind and Polish Cloud but a chance is taken on Fortunate Dave. The gelding from the bang in form Ian Williams yard was slightly disappointing at Sedgefield last time out. However he is stepped up in trip here and that should make all the difference. Tribal Dispute defeated Gastornis in good style last time out and that rival has since franked the form so he is a danger to all. Commanche Wind is in form and should run his race but his best efforts of late have come with more cut in the ground. Polish Cloud won well on his debut but he has not improved as much as expected and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Orangerie is from a top yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market although he does not look the most straight forward of rides.
