Only nine runners go to post but a competitive affair nonetheless. Fiori, Pendle Hill and Grangewick Flight are all sure to run there races but Kandy Four looks the one to beat. The gelding from the bang in form Paul Nicholls yard is a course and distance winner who has improved with each race and he had every chance last time out when falling if his confidence has not been effected he should take all the beating will with conditions again in his favour. Fiori is another who has conditions to his liking but he may struggle to give weight away to some in form rivals. Pendle Hill is from a yard that is beginning to hit top form but his best efforts have come when there has been more cut in the ground. Grangewick Flight has plenty of ability and he travels well in his races. However as soon as he hits the front he tends to down tools and everything will need to go his way if he is to win. Of the remainder Baccarat is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
