Verdict

The penny has finally dropped with Safari Adventures but this is a sterner test of his credentials. None can confidently be ruled out but BERMUDA POINTE may prove to be the best of them. This will require a career best performance if he's to provide his trainer with back to back successes in this race but he has made a winning reappearance every season and clearly goes well fresh. He will find this tougher but is still relatively unexposed after eighteen career starts and may prove up to the task. Safari Adventures' two recent wins were his first over fences in thirteen starts so there has to be some doubt as to whether he'll be able to defy a 13lb rise in the weights in a stronger contest but he is progressive. The Duke's Speech has his ideal conditions but his strike rate doesn't impress, Prospectorous and The Wicketkeeper were both due to be in action on Wednesday but are of interest on the pick of their efforts but Cantgeton may be high enough in the weights. Go Silver Bullet may be better served by this shorter trip but is another with a little to prove from his current mark, a comment which can also be applied to the selection, Bermuda Pointe.
