ROMAN VILLA is the call with Summer Soul and Jordan's Light the ones to chase him home. Roman Villa was set to race over chase fences at Sedgefield on Tuesday. Provided that those exertions have not taken the edge off him, on some of his earlier form, he is realistically too good for this level. Summer Soul will be popular with those who back on official figures. He has ran well at the course previously but the combination of a drop in trip and two moderate recent runs are offputting. Jordan's Light hasn't had too many chances over hurdles. Two miles looks to be his trip although a recent pipe opener on the flat yielded little fruit. Diktatorial was moderate over hurdles in Novice company and would need to improve to win this. Blues In The Night had a degree of ability when trained by Peter Makin but has shown nothing since heading to Ireland. Nicki Bridge is a winner in the grade but was well beaten last time out. Nevsky Bridge is a modest chasing mare. Frith's career peaked as a juvenile in the Racing Post trophy and has been on a sharp decline ever since. Roman Villa should be up to seeing off this motley bunch.
