MICKEY MONK may be able to provide Tony McCoy and Gordon Elliott with another winner and he heads our short-list from Baaher and Bathwick Man. The selection gets weight from the majority of this field which can only be in his favour as he bids to open his account at the seventh attempt and there's every reason to believe that there's more to come. He hadn't shown a great deal on his first five starts but he made the frame at Down Royal last time suggesting that the penny had dropped and he may be able to build on that here. Baaher is without a win over hurdles but has made the frame on six of his eleven starts and should be in the mix again whilst Bathwick Man hails from a yard in tip-top form and progressed well over hurdles last summer. Black Jacari is also capable of making his presence felt but he hasn't always impressed when the chips are down and we prefer to take our chance with Mickey Monk.
