The Herds Garden is only 3lb higher than when scoring at Catterick in January and acts on any ground. Effet Special hasn't been in the best of form since scoring over the track and trip in August but the veteran Xpo Universel can be given a chance on his second at Newcastle in December as he was outclassed in a Class 2 at Musselburgh last month. Lizzie Loch ran her best race to date over timber at Kelso and wouldn't need much more to get into contention in what is a very moderate affair.
