In depth

Verdict

Previous winners Royal Coburg and Endless Power may struggle under their penalties and this may go to one of the newcomers with Reap The Reward preferred to Major Miller. The last mentioned is bred to be useful coming from the family of Royal Gait but Nicky Henderson's string are out of form at present so he may be best watched a present. Royal Coburg did everything asked of him at Chepstow last time but this will not be easy under his penalty. Scotmail has shown promise in both starts so far and is preferred to stablemate Lade Braes of the two Howard Johnson runners. A market move for Boxclever would be of interest, while Len Lungo's Opening Verse filly Brosie has to be respected but the vote goes to the latter's stablemate Reap The Reward. The son of Presenting is bred for this game and hails from a yard that can ready one first time out. He may be worth chancing to give owner Ray Anderson Green another winner at the venue.
