In depth

Verdict

Grand Manner was good value for his win at Huntingdon last month but this looks tougher and, along with stablemate Clouding Over, he may have to settle for a minor role behind Bollin Annabel. The selection won well at Hexham two starts ago and lost little in defeat on a return visit to the same venue last time, for which she is set to go up 4lbs in future handicaps. There is little to choose between Martin Pipe's two runners Yourman and Honan, with marginal preference for the former who will find this company less exacting than the opposition that he met at Cheltenham last time. After Galway and Maunsell's Road both have a long absence to overcome and of more interest maybe the Nicky Richards-trained Muckle Flugga, who is probably better than she showed at Market Rasen last time. Haadef is less exposed than most of these and could be of interest but preference is for Bollin Annabel, who is taken to make the most of the favourable terms.
