Dianne Sayer has four entries in this but it’s difficult to make a strong case for any of the quartet. Border Victor has been knocking on the door lately but on soft going and he remains winless. Shanaway was second over 2m4f here last month but previous efforts over this trip have left much to be desired. COCKLEY BECK clearly found 2m1f much too short at Carlisle last month. S he’s had just the four hurdle starts and the step up to 3m should see her in a better light so she can give the weight away to more exposed rivals. Sedgefield second Classical Sound has no stamina doubts and shouldn’t be far away with Highland Peak and Arizona Bound are also worth a second look.
