The return to this trip should suit Turbo Shandy, who can land what is a weak contest from Media Man and Mill Row. The selection went well over this trip on fast ground when second in a similar contest at Catterick in March, and has not been seen since being soundly beaten when runner-up over 2m 4f at Sedgefield almost two months ago. His mark may be a little on the imaginative side, but he does have vital experience and apart from falling first time over fences his jumping has been sound, so he is the selection here. Media Man has been runner-up three times over fences himself but has not been able to repeat his form from before Christmas this spring. If he could do that then he'd be a serious threat here and the yard had a winner recently so that is not beyond question. The lightly-raced Mill Row should act on the ground but in truth probably wants further than this to be seen at his best, and Out Of Touch is a very interesting raider from the ultra-shrewd Tony Martin yard. He has shown nothing on the racecourse so far but if there is any money down then he has to be taken seriously. Arctic Cove has never won in 28 attempts under rules but has run some commendable races in defeat but we prefer the claims of Turbo Shandy to shed his maiden tag.
