As is often the case in bumpers there is little for backers to go and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Paul Flynn's Irish point-to-point winner KEOGHS BAR, who is taken to make a winning debut under rules and gets the verdict ahead of Rhum and Cuigny. The last mentioned already has winning form in this grade having won a Sedgefield bumper over a year ago but he has a penalty to carry for that which makes this more difficult. Lord Multifix has run creditably in both starts so far and should again be thereabouts, while Unico ran better in an Irish point last time but earlier form in bumpers is poor. Rose Dobbin's Colour Clash made a pleasing debut at Sedgefield last month and he has to be considered following that effort. Final Day lacks any racecourse experience but Gordon Elliott's runners in this grade always warrant respect as do those trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, who handles another newcomer Rhum. Neither would need to be anything out of the ordinary to win this first time up but preference is for Keoghs Bar.
