Mags Two has to be the choice here, with maybe Sconced, Haptor and Ramble On Terry possibly the ones to prove best of the rest. Following his Hexham win, Mags Two is set to go up by ten pounds in future ratings and, based on that, is well-in so is an obvious choice. Sconced finished second to him at Hexham and might bag some place money again in what is a modest race. Of the others, Bodfari Signet is not out of it based on his January form, Incas would hold a chance based on his best Irish chase form, Hapthor showed enough at Hexham two runs ago to be given some thought, course winner Jallastep would hold a good chance on old form but has been running over fences of late, True Temper keeps getting raised for defeats but holds each-way claims, Ramble On Terry seemed to show improvement last time and could improve again, and Tiger Talk is well weighted based on his March 2005 win but he is out of form now. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Mags Two.
