Silver Dagger, Mocharamor and Aston are the three to catch the eye here with Aston the selection. Mocharamor has been campaigned over both hurdles and fences of late and the co-top weight looks to have a leading chance on the evidence of his recent second at Cartmel where he was touched off on the line when his jockey stopped riding. He looks certain to go well, although it is worth pointing out he was pulled up on his last visit to the track. It is over a year since Aston last visited the winners¿ enclosure but his recent efforts have been admirable, stating on well at the finish to be narrowly denied. Another bold showing is expected but it is worth bearing in mind he has been second in four of his last nine races. Silver Dagger has run up a hat trick this summer and is well treated here, although his two more recent performances have not been up to the same level. Aston has been running well of late and deserves to get his head in front.
