Field Roller, Power Strike and Toulouse Express catch the eye in this open affair with Field Roller taken to maintain his good recent form. Toulouse Express has turned in respectable efforts recently without looking a serious threat and he takes a drop in class here. It is worth noting that his May victory at Market Rasen came when there was more give in the ground. Power Strike is only a modest performer, rated 45 on the Flat and a maiden over jumps, having reached the frame only once. However, he ran a decent race by his standards last time and wasn¿t beaten too far. He receives a lot of weight from his principal rivals here and can reach a place. Field Roller has hit form recently, scoring for the first time over fences at Hexham, before finishing runner up here, when a blunder at the third last appeared to be costly, having hit the front travelling well. Field Roller seems to be improving and can land his second chase.
