In depth

Verdict

Max Dynamite ran a big race in the Doncaster Cup last time and is preferred to Montaly, well beaten in the Ebor at York, but Willie Mullins’ charge may have to play second fiddle to the home contenders in this Group 1 contest. Holdthasigreen went close in a trial race over a shorter distance here last month but third-placed MORGAN LE FAYE is fancied to reverse running today. Andre Fabre’s filly was given plenty of ground to make up in the final furlong on that occasion but finished with a flourish and a chance is taken she can produce the same turn of foot at the end of this marathon trip. Mille Et Mille ran below par behind the former pair last time but found only the high-class Vazirabad too good in last year’s renewal while Call The Wind has shown good progress in lesser events.
