This looks to be a trappy handicap and just a narrow vote is given to Red Somerset, Boundless Prospect and Apex could be the main dangers. The selection has been unlucky to come up against a couple of progressive types recently but has done well. In his last race when just touched off by Very Well Red he had plenty of previous winners behind and a repeat run could be good enough today. Boundless Prospect was an impressive winner of a claimer last week and will find this tougher. However his six pound penalty is offset by the decent five pound claimer and he should be in the shake up. Apex had excellent early season form and looked on the way back last time out. Meanwhile Namid Reprobate would also have claims on his best form, so as you can see a difficult race to assess and we just come down on the side of Red Somerset
