The step up to this trip can provide the key to unlocking new doors for Fantastic Lass, who is selected ahead of Amwell House and Casual Garcia. There may also be more to come from Let Me Pass, who starts her handicap career on a modest handicap mark and she would not need to find much to be a leading player today. Casual Garcia was clobbered with a 20lb weight-rise after winning a seller at Lingfield on his penultimate start; and found the new mark a substantial anchor when he finished sixth in a handicap at Brighton earlier this month. The step up in distance may help but he does need to register a better effort this afternoon. Amwell House is still a maiden and does nothing too quickly. He is obviously of limited ability. However, as stamina seems to be his forte, he cannot be ruled out in a weak race like this. Nevertheless, Fantastic Lass has already proved that she is capable of winning at this course and she takes the eye on her potential to improve now she tries two miles. Any rain will not be a hindrance for this daughter of Fantastic Light and she looks poised to register another big run for her in-form yard.
