ARAB LEAGUE, Kokkokila, Outland and Petella may provide the winner of this race with preference for Richard Price's consistent gelding. Arab League has been a credit to his connections and has only been going up in the weights by small increments which gives him every chance of gaining his third success in his last four starts. He's 5lbs higher than when winning at Newbury but is a reliable sort who should give another good account. Kokkokila returned from a break at the top of her game to win at Goodwood and remains feasibly treated from her revised mark and is versatile with regard to underfoot conditions. Outland has improved for being stepped up in trip but he's gone up by 8lbs in defeat over his last two starts so he'll need to have improved again if he's to stay one step ahead of the handicapper. Petella was trying this trip for the first time when runner-up over course and distance from a 16lb lower mark than her initial perch. The handicapper left her alone after that run but she's been absent since and the form hasn't worked out terribly well so we're happy to return to Arab League as the selection.
