Taurus Twins and The History Man have place claims but NAMIR appeals as a likelier winner with Mazzola and Top Bid others to note. Taurus Twins comes here in good form and should give another good account but his course win came over six furlongs and it may be that he needs a stiffer test than this in order to take the top spot. The trip is also a concern for The History Man who battled on gamely to regain the lead close home over six at Bath although he is still well treated under his penalty on his old form. Top Bid is on a fair enough mark and goes well for Kelly Harrison so could be a danger to all whilst Mazzola is well treated and in-form so can be expected to be on the premises. Sands Crooner is another that has slipped back to a mark that he's more than capable of winning from to give this race a competitive feel but James Evans has Namir in good form and he has plenty in his favour. He's won over course and distance, is well weighted, in form and well drawn if allowed to race prominently which all points to Namir going close.
