In depth

Verdict

Spunger gets the vote here against mainly out of form rivals, Bold Cross and Citelle look to be the main rivals. The selection hit winning form last time after going close on numerous occasions. She stayed on strongly to beat Blushing Hillary in a Musselburgh handcap. The extra couple of furlongs should be ideal and she looks the one to be on this afternoon. Bold Cross looks to have been crying out for this trip and his second to Quince has been well highlighted by that winner. He should be involved in the finish. Citelle wasn't beaten far in a Warwick handicap last time and should be fighting for some place money. Best of the others could be Think Lucky but Spunger is expected to make it back to back victories.
