Fast Steps did well to win at Epsom considering her is still learning his job. He comes here with a penalty but is respected and makes more appeal than the also-penalised Bill Peyto, who is making his seasonal reappearance. A combination of soft going and a lack of experience did for the beautifully-bred DIAVOLO at Sandown. He wasn’t given a hard time and may still have a bright future. Injazati was odds-on at Carlisle after a debut third at Newmarket but only managed a place and this looks more competitive.
