Just an average end of season maiden here contested by some well-bred types who have failed to live up to expectations and some late developing sorts who get their first run of the season here. The horse with the best racecourse form is Paul D'Arcy's Forest Magic who has put up a couple of decent efforts on a soft surface in better races than this at Newmarket and Ayr. His latest run (after a long break) was a useful effort and he is taken as the TEAMtalk selection to land this maiden. John Gosden always has to be respected at this level and his Bowing takes his chance here. Not totally convincing on his two racecourse outings he should have learnt from those runs and comes here with an excellent chance. Derby entry Mutajjeb was unfancied on his only racecourse appearance at Sandown last month and should be better suited by this ten furlongs. Any market move for this Darshaan colt would be significant with his stable in much better form now. Fantastico has run some solid efforts without setting the world on fire this year. She need to improve on recent efforts but in her favour is her proven ability to stay this trip.
