Only six go for this two miler in which Triplemoon can make the most of her sex allowance to outstay Best Port and Tass Heel. It is not the strongest of contests and Triplemoon is not certain to stay on breeding. However, she shaped as though needing a trip when fifth at Newbury last time in what was a better race than this, and as there is the likelihood that the pace will not be fast, her stamina should last out. Hold-up performer Best Port made a belated reappearance at Doncaster, finishing last of 11 but is twice a course winner at Nottingham so can make his presence felt if fit enough, while Academy does stay but has dodgy joints that will not be helped by the fast ground. Mick Channon does not have many inmates who tackle extreme distances but Tass Heel is an exception and his fifth to Sindapour at Sandown has been franked by the winner going in at Royal Ascot. He can give the selection Triplemoon most to do.
