With the Bryan Smart yard in such fine form and with a potentially decent mark, Bond Millennium is taken to beat The Rip and Sea Frolic. The selection has been generally around the 60 mark over the past twelve months and has found that rating just too high, although he has gone close on a few occasions. Off his current mark he is pretty much thrown in on his best form and with the yard knocking in winners all over the place his is worthy of plenty of respect. Sea Frolic is at the top of her game following victories at Carlisle and Warwick. She is still at the right end of the handicap and will be hard to keep out of the places. Tim Easterby is also having a steady run of winners and The Rip, a promising fourth behind Kaymych Perfecto last time should be involved in the finish. Best of the remainder could be Moonshine Bill, but Bond Millennium has plenty going for him today and gets the verdict.
