A very difficult race for punters and an each-way punt is taken about Tamarella with Three Days In May and College Queen all warranting respect. George Margarson has hardly had a vintage season by any stretch of the imagination but his season looks to be just about turning the corner and Tamarella has finally been given a little respite by the handicapper. She does possess a fair bit of early pace and if she can tack over from her unfavourable draw, she must go close. Three Days In May is an obvious danger. She ran well enough behind Sateen earlier in the week and the stable are in form. College Queen has been a credit to connections since adopting headgear and while she could be capable of a further course and distance success, she historically has not gone well for apprentice jockeys. Eastern Blue has been very expensive to follow but has major positives today. Darryll Holland has been booked for the job and the draw of nineteen couldn't have fallen better for the Stubbs team. Ellamyte looks best of the rest. In a tricky contest, Tamarella is given as the value each-way selection.
