Rippling River and Princess Ileana look to be the form horses in the line upand we will side with the first named, Off The Record may be the best of the newcomers. The selection has finished the bridesmaid on his three runs to date, but hasn't been beaten far by some decnt enough opponents. This is in effect a drop in class for the Willie Jarvis trained colt and he looks the one to be on. Princess Ileana has had plenty of chances but has earned her rating of 70. If running up to her best she will be a major threat. Ingleby Hill is from the back to form David Barron yard and is a nicely bred son of Averti, while Off The Record also boasts a decent pedigree. Any money for either of these should be noted, but on this occasion we will stick with known form and plump for Rippling River.
