Moonlit Skies is bound to be popular representing the powerful Godolphin operation under Frankie Dettori but he would not appear to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade after a win in a maiden on his previous start and preference is for the bottom weight Woolly Bully, who gets the vote ahead of Speedy Sam and Natural Force. The selection has very sensibly been given a bit of a break since making a winning return to action under Dettori at Pontefract earlier this month, has ground conditions to suit and could still be well treated. Luca Cumani's Sciatin would have claims if fit enough for his return but lack of a recent run is of concern and of more interest may be Peter Chapple-Hyam's Baskerville, who may have needed his most recent run at Yarmouth and does have form with cut in the ground. Speedy Sam is a consistent performer and should be thereabouts again, although he may have to settle for a minor role, while Natural Force looks the lesser of the two Godolphin runners. Woolly Bully has an obvious chance though and he gets the vote.
