Eastern Anthem, a son of Singspiel, would not need to be out of the ordinary to take this on his debut and Godolphin's colt is taken to do just that and score at the main expense of Sagredo and Hurricane Thomas. The last mentioned showed a degree of promise on his debut and has to be respected as Mark Johnston's horses normally improve for their first start. The son of Celtic Swing should handle the cut in the ground and he makes more appeal than Amanda Perrett's Intiquilla, who can be expected to improve on whatever she shows here. The Clive Cox-trained Galloise could be of interest on her debut as she should go on the ground, while Sir Mark Prescott's Sagredo has claims on form but may be better on a faster surface. The ground should not be a problem for Eastern Anthem though and he is taken to make a winning debut.
