Verdict

Baqaat kept finding more in the closing stages at Epsom and her battling qualities could see her through over this extra furlong but ELVIRA DELIGHT is a scopey filly who gets the nod. She couldn't quite concede weight to Lexi's Boy when last seen at Wolverhampton in February but the winner has gone in again subsequently and the form looks useful. Bath winner Masaraat was fancied to make a winning return at Salisbury but could never get involved while Beyeh had little chance in a Listed contest at Salisbury after her maiden success at Beverley. The ground was soft when Janicellaine made a winning debut over 7f at Warwick in September and though she should do well this season conditions will be very different here.
