In depth

Verdict

Lucata found one too good when sent off favourite at Leicester last week. It was heavy going on that occasion when beaten by a Richard Hannon runner so that trainer should have a good handle on the chances of newcomer VENTURA BLUES and the latter gets the nod. Fellow debutant Valentino Boy is a half-brother to six winners and entered in valuable sales races while Champion Harbour is related to a winner on the all-weather. King Of Castilla never threatened despite finishing third at Lingfield earlier this month.
