Formwatch

Simply Eric (IRE) shaped as though a distance further than a mile would be his best he still could represent good value in this wide-open contest to close the card. Fourth when a warm favourite on his seasonal reappearance at Musselburgh last week he should be fitter today and will go very close. Gerald Butler's Jaycat looks a progressive type and this step up to a mile looks sure to suit and is one very much for the shortlist. Time Marches On is another who could be on the upgrade and put up his best effort when third behind Caliban last time out. However he may struggle from so far out of the handicap.
