Border Edge has an opportunity to finally lose his maiden tag after putting up some gritty performances in recent outings. He failed to stay an extended mile at Wolverhampton last time and now is back at his favoured distance. Ramblin' Man has run some creditable races since switching to Michael Blanshard and is fit from the sand - he should go close here. Kristineau is a well regarded filly who will have benefited from her recent spin at Doncaster and must come into the reckoning, while Picture Mee has been showing consistent enough form in recent weeks to suggest a place on the shortlist is not unwarranted.
