Verdict
Refuse Colette has been a revelation this season for Mick Quinn and the mare cannot be ruled out from rattling up a fifth victory of the season despite the best efforts of the handicapper to take her measure. Back to back successes for Guishan are sure to make Michael Appleby's mare popular but we will row in with FEVER FEW. Chris Wall's string have been enjoying their best campaign for some time and, having won well at Doncaster on her most recent outing, the five-year-old can follow up. Meandmyshadow is exposed but the handicapper had dropped her significantly down the weights before she was able to take advantage at Carlisle and Alan Brown's mare could be a factor if securing an easy lead. Ligeia was tried in Listed company last year though she has struggled to run up that level of form since. First Experience burnt plenty of fingers at Epsom and Rae Guest's filly is one to note in the betting.
