FIELDSMAN has shown potential in both starts at Newbury and Goodwood and probably should have finished closer last time. His overall form is slightly stronger than that of Hail Clodius, who looked in need of an extra furlong when slightly disappointing over this trip at Doncaster. Mickey Haller will improve for his run at Newbury where he showed good pace before fading while the newcomers Eatsleepracerepeat and Tadpole should be kept an eye on, especially the latter who is a half-sister to seven middle-distance winners.
