In depth

Verdict

MONSIEUR CHEVALIER is undoubtedly well treated nowadays and his latest fourth at Newbury is the best recent form on offer. Jamie Spencer, who took the reins when the seven-year-old made a promising comeback at Windsor, is back on board and the partnership can reverse recent running with Joey's Destiny and land this. Tatlisu had a number of decent sprinters behind when third at Ayr in September and has claims on that form. He probably needed his reappearance while Run With Pride wasn't disgraced at Haydock after winning at Doncaster and still has a bit of scope.
