Verdict
Deb's Delight made an impressive start on good to soft at Carlisle but could never get going under a penalty at Chester after missing the break. Asmund was narrowly beaten in three starts over 5f and has performed with credit in strong nurseries over this trip. Brazen Point looked as though testing ground would suit when staying on over this trip at Pontefract but MOOSMEE looks the one to beat. William Haggas' 130,000gns colt, a half-brother to three winners, made a fair start on soft ground at Haydock and will have come on a bundle for the experience. The filly Clegane didn't last home over 7f at Newcastle and her previous good run at Windsor came on fast going.
