Several failed to cope with a rise in the weights last time having won their penultimate starts. That list includes Chica Buena, Myklachi, Kirtling and Esspeegee. Others like Vibrance and Remember Rocky failed to build on earlier placed efforts last time but Trouble Shooter continued winning ways upped to 2m at Kempton last month. Both previous wins came over today’s trip on the Turf but the vote goes to the less-exposed WADACRE GALOUBET. The latter had gone close on this surface at Wolverhampton before finding a longer trip at Chelmsford beyond him on his handicap debut and Mark Johnston’s charge gets another chance in this.
