Verdict

This will take some getting though these youngsters are bred to stay. Damage Control handled the soft ground at Bath but could only run on at one pace. King Carney was staying on over 7f on his debut at Haydock but didn't look suited by front-running when well beaten into second at Newcastle. Master Spy made his debut over 6f on fast ground at Newbury so will find this very different, though he made good late progress. Crossing The Bar is a half-brother to two winning stayers so the trip won't be a problem nor should it be for Favorite Moon, a half-brother to three winners. The filly Too Big To Fail is another certain to be suited by the trip but a chance is taken on CHANKAYA, a 105,000gns Dubawi colt whose dam has produced three winners.
