In depth

Verdict

SRI KUANTAN, a winner at Yarmouth last month, is still unexposed at the trip and is taken as the one to side with here. Silk Hall and Zuwaar are two major obstacles in the way, while a case can also be stated for Herrera, who is better than she showed at Thirsk last time; the longer trip might help her get back on the right footing, though. Step This Way, on the other hand, has a lot to prove despite being back on a winning mark. Her recent starts have left a lot to be desired. Zuwaar is equally effective on turf as he is on the all-weather. And, as he stays well, he has to be a threat on these terms. Silk Hall has been in great heart under both codes and is likely to make a bold bid despite carrying top weight. However, Sri Kuantan has plenty of scope for improvement and he looks worth keeping on the right side now he has started to full his potential.
